The prize for the First Light Shoppers Competition was a luxury get away to the famous High Street treasure, Hotel DeBrett.
Hotel DeBrett is a unique luxury boutique hotel experience.
It’s iconic building has been stylishly reinterpreted into a 25-roomluxury boutique hotel. Every room is individually designed and complemented with eclectic furniture, New Zealand art and photography.
The hotel’s restaurant, Kitchen Restaurant was selected as one of 50 finalists in the 2011 Cuisine NZ Restaurant of the Year Awards.
The First Light prize consisted of:
One night in a loft suite, including continental breakfast, a pre dinner drink in the drawing room, wifi, and a 3 course pre-show dinner for two with a bottle of wine.
Total prize valued at $770!

For First Light the recently touched up Cornerbar is introducing a whole new day and night food menu with some heartier hot options. Try a Manuka smoked angus beef ficelle gourmet sandwich during the day or some Sweet soy, honey and rosemary grilled chicken skewers with asian coleslaw, released specially for First Light and in time for the welcome warmer nights.

They invite you to join them for casual sociability and complimentary samplings of their pizzeria between 5pm and 8pm… upstairs at Cassette Nine, 9 Vulcan Lane.
Make sure to take a trip upstairs in Hotel DeBrett to Housebar and Kitchen Restaurant, spanning three unique but connected spaces.
