We are thrilled to announce the return of Viva Presents First Light!
Celebrating the launch of the Autumn/Winter 2012 collections, the first ‘First Light’ for 2012 will take place on Friday 24th February in the High St District.
So mark the date in your own diary and your friends diaries now. Viva Presents First Light will be the perfect opportunity to get all dressed up, do a spot of shopping in the District, and treat yourself to something special from your favourite designer’s new collection.
There will once again be the opportunity to win an amazing High Street District Experience in the ‘Viva Lucky Shopper Prize’ package.

The prize for the First Light Shoppers Competition was a luxury get away to the famous High Street treasure, Hotel DeBrett.
Hotel DeBrett is a unique luxury boutique hotel experience.
It’s iconic building has been stylishly reinterpreted into a 25-roomluxury boutique hotel. Every room is individually designed and complemented with eclectic furniture, New Zealand art and photography.
The hotel’s restaurant, Kitchen Restaurant was selected as one of 50 finalists in the 2011 Cuisine NZ Restaurant of the Year Awards.
The First Light prize consisted of:
One night in a loft suite, including continental breakfast, a pre dinner drink in the drawing room, wifi, and a 3 course pre-show dinner for two with a bottle of wine.
Total prize valued at $770!
The very lucky winner is David Gilligan, a shopper who bought a pair of shoes at RJB during First Light.

For First Light the recently touched up Cornerbar is introducing a whole new day and night food menu with some heartier hot options. Try a Manuka smoked angus beef ficelle gourmet sandwich during the day or some Sweet soy, honey and rosemary grilled chicken skewers with asian coleslaw, released specially for First Light and in time for the welcome warmer nights.
